The BONE Performance Art Festival Bern, together with students of the Bern University of the Arts (HKB), partakes in the shnit SPOTLIGHT | CROSSING BORDERS program with fascinating performance contributions. The crossing of borders isn't what the performing arts inherently set out to do. Borders are simply obsolete and the act of crossing them actually is the métier of those trapped within their own profession, of the territorial wardens of what we understand as categories. With "cut, slice & split", actionist holes are cut into conventional patterns of expectation and thought.
